About Kathryn Scott
Kathryn Scott is a contemporary worship music songwriter and worship leader. She was born Kathryn Sarah Scott on September 29, 1974, in Eastbourne, England, and raised in Northern Ireland. She studied theology at Elim Bible College in England, where she earned a BA Hons degree.
In 1997, she began being mentored by worship leader Brian Doerksen. Two years later, along with her husband, Alan Scott, she founded the Causeway Coast Vineyard Church in Northern Ireland. She has also served as a pastor at Vineyard Anaheim Church in California.
Her songwriting credits include the internationally sung “Hungry,” as well as “At the Foot of the Cross” and “Search Me.” Her recorded work includes the albums Satisfy (2004), I Belong (2007), We Still Believe (2010), the EP Sing on the Battlefield (2014), and the live album Speak to Me (2020).
