Kaberere

Peter Kaberere, also known as Qabbz, was a Kenyan contemporary gospel singer and songwriter. He began his music career as a member of the gospel group Zaidi ya Mziki before transitioning to a solo career, releasing the album Kiburi. His catalog includes the song "Kiburi ni cha nini?" as well as "Mwanake" featuring Benachi, "Just a Way" with Mr. Vee, "Natamani" with Eunice Njeri, and "Nifiche" featuring Kambua.

Outside of performing, Kaberere served as the operations manager at Mo Sound Limited, the organization behind the annual Groove Awards, contributing to the broader Kenyan gospel music industry. He passed away on April 6, 2014, following an accidental electrocution at a car wash. He was survived by his wife, Njesh Kahura, and their children.
