About Josiah Queen

Josiah Queen is an American Christian contemporary singer-songwriter and worship leader. He was born on January 11, 2003, in Clearwater, Florida, and his parents served as pastors at a church in New Port Richey, Florida. Before his music career gained momentum, Queen worked as a church janitor. He began releasing music in 2020 with the single “God of Miracles.”

His debut album, The Prodigal, was released in 2024 and reached No. 1 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart. The album includes the title track “The Prodigal,” which later received a Gold certification from the RIAA. Queen also released the song “Dusty Bibles,” which achieved Gold certification as well. He collaborated with Brandon Lake on the track “Can’t Steal My Joy,” and his catalog also includes the 2023 single “I Am Barabbas,” the DC Talk cover “Jesus Freak,” and a 2026 single titled “Demons.”

In 2024, Queen was named Billboard’s No. 1 New Christian Artist of the Year. He received nominations at the 2024 GMA Dove Awards for New Artist of the Year and Pop/Contemporary Song of the Year for “The Prodigal.” That same year, he released a follow-up album, Mt. Zion. Queen is married to Trinity Joy, who accompanies him on tour and participates in his ministry.
