Joshua Micah

Joshua Micah is an American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist whose music blends pop and electronic influences with Christian themes. He was born and raised in Manchester, Connecticut, in a faith-based family and began playing drums and guitar in church at age twelve. As a child, he survived a rare blood disease called Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP).

Before launching his solo career, Micah was a member of the high school band Light the City. He later moved to Los Angeles to pursue music as a solo artist, gaining early recognition through social media platforms, including Vine. His early releases include the song “When the World Ends” (2012) and the EP Let It Go (2013). He continued to build his catalog with songs such as “We’re in Heaven” (2014), “Blueprints” (2014), “Parachute” (2016), and “Who Says?” (2017), followed by the EP 20XX (2017).

Micah achieved notable success on Christian radio. In 2017, his song “Parachute” reached Number 1 on Billboard’s Christian Hot AC/CHR chart, and his song “Who Says?” also reached Number 1 on the same chart that year. In 2022, he released “Let the Light In,” a collaboration with Owl City.
