About Jonathan Ogden

Jonathan Ogden is a British musician, songwriter, and producer based in Manchester, UK, who creates music as an expression of worship. He was the lead singer and founder of the Christian band Rivers & Robots, which he started in 2010. Ogden grew up as the son of a pastor in a musical family, and his sound blends acoustic, electronic, jazz, and hip-hop influences.

Following his work with Rivers & Robots—whose albums include The Eternal Son and All Things New—Ogden launched a solo career. He has released several EPs and albums, among them the concept album Twenty Four. His catalog features songs such as “Slow Down,” “Future Forever,” “Take Me Back,” and the EP Songs From Home. In 2025, Ogden released the album NIGHT, which explores themes of grief, loss, and God’s presence.

Beyond music, Ogden co-founded Set Sail, a missions organization that focuses on spreading the gospel through creativity. He also often designs his own album covers, reflecting a commitment to integrating faith with visual art as well as music.
