About Jon Egan
Jon Egan is a worship leader, songwriter, and pastor at New Life Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He co-founded the youth-focused worship group Desperation Band in 2001 and served as its lead vocalist. The band released multiple albums over the years, including Banner (2014).
In 2019, Egan released his debut solo live album, Unveil, through Integrity Music. His songwriting credits include well-known worship songs such as “I Am Free,” “Overcome,” and “Strong God.” Over the course of his career, he has collaborated with several Christian artists and songwriters, including Jason Ingram, Kari Jobe, and Jeremy Camp.
In addition to his music, Egan serves as a Senior Executive Pastor at New Life Church. He has also spoken publicly about his personal experiences with anxiety and the role that worship has played in his life.
