About Jimmy Needham
Jimmy Needham is a contemporary Christian singer-songwriter and worship leader. Born on August 22, 1985, he is a native of Texas. He graduated from Texas A&M University, where he studied history and philosophy. Needham began his career with the independent release of his debut album, For Freedom, in 2005. He signed with the Christian record label Inpop Records the following year.
Over the next decade, Needham released a series of studio albums: Speak (2006), Not Without Love (2008), Nightlights (2010), Clear the Stage (2012), and Vice & Virtue (2015). He also released The Hymns Sessions, Vol. 1 in 2013 and the single “Dearly Loved” in 2006. His album Clear the Stage reached No. 128 on the Billboard 200 chart and No. 9 on the Top Christian Albums chart in 2012.
Today, Needham serves as a teaching and worship pastor at Stonegate Church in Texas. He is married to Kelly Needham, and together they co-host the Clearly podcast. He has also pursued graduate studies at Dallas Theological Seminary, bringing his background in music and ministry together in his current work.
