Jimi Cravity is the stage name of Maurice Eugene Willis, born December 4, 1984, in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a songwriter, record producer, multi-instrumentalist, and artist who has served as a worship leader and appeared at Passion Conferences. He was signed to the Capitol Christian Music Group joint venture label sixstepsrecords.
Cravity’s work has bridged gospel and mainstream R&B. He contributed as a songwriter and featured artist on Tasha Cobbs-Leonard’s song “You Know My Name” and was a composer on Brent Faiyaz’s “Dead Man Walking.” He has also collaborated with artists including Ludacris, Usher, Matt Redman, and Jason Ingram.
His discography includes the EPs Maverick (2012) and Heaven (2017), the single “Believe” (2017), and the album Concrete Gold (2024). The Heaven EP peaked at No. 15 on the Billboard Christian Albums chart and No. 11 on the Heatseekers Albums chart, while “Believe” reached No. 4 on Christian radio.
Cravity’s work has earned RIAA Gold certification for “You Know My Name” and RIAA Platinum certification for “Dead Man Walking” (as a composer). In 2021, he founded The Outlier Agency.
