About Jamie Grace
Jamie Grace Harper is a contemporary Christian musician, singer, and songwriter who was born on November 25, 1991, in Atlanta, Georgia. She is the daughter of Bishop James Harper and Pastor Mona Harper. In 2010, she was discovered on YouTube by TobyMac, who signed her to Gotee Records. The collaboration produced her breakthrough single “Hold Me,” which featured TobyMac and earned a Grammy Award nomination for Best Contemporary Christian Music Song in 2012. The song also received RIAA Digital Gold certification.
Jamie Grace’s debut album One Song at a Time was followed by the album Ready to Fly, which included the singles “Beautiful Day” and “Fighter.” She also released the EP Christmas Together and later the albums '91 and Dreamers. Her accomplishments include winning a Dove Award for New Artist of the Year in 2012. Beyond her solo career, she is a member of the duo Harper Still alongside her sister, Morgan Harper Nichols.
Jamie Grace has been open about her diagnoses of Tourette syndrome, OCD, ADHD, and anxiety, and she uses her platform to advocate for children and families through the Jamie Grace Foundation and the website IamAFighter.org. She holds a bachelor’s degree in children’s ministry from Point University and was a cast member on the television show iShine KNECT. Her work continues to reflect her faith and her personal journey.
