About Hunter Thompson
Hunter Hunter G. K. Thompson is an American Christian musician and worship leader at Bethel Church in Redding, California. He was born on May 29, 1991, in Saint Paul, Minnesota. His music career began in 2012 when he recorded the song “My Dear” for the Bethel Music album The Loft Sessions.
Thompson released his debut EP, Gabriel Kansas, in 2013 through Bethel Music. The following year he issued a second EP, Swan Song, which charted on the Billboard Christian Albums and Heatseekers Albums charts. That EP included songs such as “Song of David,” “Maranatha,” “Firm Foundation,” and “To Love You Rightly.”
In 2019, Thompson released a full-length record titled No Books About Me through Watershed Music Group. His work has remained centered on his role as a worship leader at Bethel Church and his contributions to the Bethel Music catalog.
