Godwin Omighale

Godwin Omighale is a Nigerian-born gospel singer, songwriter, and worship leader widely known by the moniker “The Winner Man.” He began his musical journey as a teenager singing in the adult choir of the Church of God Mission. In 2009, he relocated to South Africa to pursue his music and ministry career.

Omighale has served as a vocal coach for major television music competition programs, including Idols SA and The Voice. He was also a former member of the music group Exaltation. His debut album, Beautiful God, was released in 2015. That was followed by the single “Winner Man” in 2017 and the live DVD and album project Rain of Glory later that same year.

Omighale has collaborated with or performed alongside gospel artists such as Benjamin Dube, Tasha Cobbs, and Donnie McClurkin. His catalog of live recordings continues with Chapters of Grace (2019) and subsequent singles including “Igwe” (2022), “He Never Fails” (2023), “Immaculate God” (2024), and “Omemma” (2025). In 2018, he received a nomination for an SABC Crown Gospel Music Award.
