Gloria Bailey

Gloria Bailey is a Jamaican gospel singer who was active as a recording artist during the 1960s and 1970s. Her music was primarily released under the Henry’s label, a platform that helped bring her traditional gospel sound to listeners during those decades.

Bailey recorded multiple albums, with releases spanning not only the 1960s and 1970s but also the 1980s and 1990s. Her repertoire drew from traditional gospel hymns and spiritual songs, reflecting the enduring character of her music. A compilation titled Gloria Bailey Greatest Hits was released in 1975, collecting a number of her well-known recordings from that period. Later, two of her albums, I Have Another Home in View (2013) and O Love of God (2020), made her catalog available to a new generation.
