Erasto Shengezi

Erasto Shengezi is a Kenyan-based Congolese musician, guitarist, and pastor recognized for his work in the gospel music genre. His sound is often described as Christian Pop or African gospel, blending contemporary worship elements with traditional African influences.

Shengezi began his professional music career as a band member for the late Congolese gospel singer Angela Chibalonza. After her passing, he stepped into the role of band leader, continuing the musical legacy she established. This experience deepened his roots in the East African gospel scene and connected him with a network of Christian artists.

Over the course of his career, Shengezi has collaborated with several notable Kenyan gospel artists, including Eunice Njeri and Gloria Muliro.
