Emmanuel Iren

Emmanuel Iren is a Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, and pastor who founded Celebration Church International and leads the Outburst Music Group. Born on December 18, 1989, in Nigeria, he also serves as the President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) Youth Wing. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Building Technology from Covenant University and an MBA from the University of Lagos. Iren is married to Laju Iren, and they have children together.

Music is an extension of Iren’s ministry. As president of Outburst Music Group—a gospel music collective formed from his church choir—his sound is rooted in gospel and worship, often featuring collaborations with other artists. He released the album Kerygma in 2017, followed by Octane in 2020 and Apostolos: Sounds of Transition in 2022. His catalog includes the singles “Light Up The Way,” “Prophetic Chant” (recorded live with Nosa), and “Holy Ghost” (recorded live with Sinach). In 2021 he was a featured artist on the song “Zoe.” His 2024 album is titled Spirituals.

Iren’s leadership and music have been recognized beyond the church. In 2022, Apostolos earned a nomination for Album of the Year at the Kingdom Achievers Awards. The following year, he was bestowed with an honorary Doctorate Degree from Myles Leadership University. In addition to his music and pastoral work, he is an author of several books, including Leading Seeks You and Purposefully.
