About Doe Jones
DOE, born Dominique Jones, is a singer, songwriter, and worship leader in Christian and gospel music. She was born in Washington State and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana. She began her music career as a member of the Christian gospel group Forever Jones, which included her parents and siblings. The group released albums including Get Ready (2010) and Musical Revival (2012).
Around 2014, DOE launched her solo career. She also served as a youth pastor in Dallas, Texas. She gained wider recognition for her featured performance on Jonathan McReynolds’ 2018 single “Cycles.” Her early solo singles included “Brighter,” “Deepest Part of You,” and “Reach.” In 2020, she released her debut solo EP, titled DOE.
Her debut studio album, Clarity, was released in 2022. She followed it with Heart of a Human in 2024, which won the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album in 2025. During her career, she achieved three No. 1 singles: “Brighter,” “When I Pray,” and “Cuán Bueno.” In 2026, she released the single “Know Your Name.”
