About Diana Hamilton
Diana Hamilton is a Ghanaian gospel musician and worship leader whose ministry has taken her across Ghana, the UK, and the USA. Born Diana Antwi Hamilton on December 4, 1978, in Kumasi, Ghana, she grew up as the third of eight children born to Apostle Felix Antwi and Comfort Antwi. She is a trained nurse and has balanced her medical career with her music ministry.
Her musical career began at age thirteen as a backing vocalist for gospel artist Francis Agyei. She later released songs including “Ɔsoro bɛkasa” (2007), “Ensi wo yie” (2010), and “Blessings” (2011). Her catalog also includes “Adom (Grace)” and the 2024 collaboration “The Doing of the Lord” featuring Mercy Chinwo.
Hamilton’s contributions to gospel music have earned her several awards. She won Best Artiste Europe at the 2011 Africa Gospel Awards and Best Female Artiste at the 2014 Africa Gospel Awards. In 2021, she received Artist of the Year and Gospel Artist of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards.
Outside of music, she established the Diana Hamilton Foundation to support underprivileged children. She is married to Dr. Joseph Hamilton, and they have twin children.
