About David Leonard
David Alan Leonard is a contemporary Christian singer-songwriter, worship leader, and producer. Born on August 11, 1982, in Arkansas, he began leading worship at age 15 at a college ministry in his home state.
Leonard first gained experience as a member of the Christian Southern rock band Jackson Waters and later served as a touring keyboardist for NEEDTOBREATHE. He earned wider recognition as one-half of the worship duo All Sons & Daughters alongside Leslie Anne Jordan. Signed to Integrity Music, the duo released albums including Season One, Live, All Sons & Daughters, and Poets & Saints.
After the duo disbanded in 2018, Leonard co-founded the production group and label The Creak Music. He launched a solo career with his debut album, The Wait, in 2019, released through Provident Label Group. He followed with the album Plans in 2023 and Just Jesus in 2025. His solo singles include “Every Hour,” “Good Lord,” and “Light A Fire” from 2022, as well as “Call Out To Jesus” and “I Saw Mercy” from 2025. Leonard is based in Franklin, Tennessee.
