About Cochren & Co.
Cochren & Co. is a contemporary Christian band led by singer-songwriter and worship leader Michael Cochren. The band originated in Indiana, where Michael Cochren began touring with a group of friends, a lineup that later included his wife, Leah Cochren. Signed to Gotee Records, the group blends American pop-rock with soul and blues, a sound rooted in their worship-leading background.
The band first gained attention with the 2018 single “Church (Take Me Back),” which later earned RIAA Gold certification. Their debut album, Don’t Lose Hope, followed in 2021, and the 2020 single “One Day” also found a place in their catalog. The 2023 single “Running Home” hit No. 1 on the Billboard Christian Airplay chart, becoming the band’s biggest radio success. Michael Cochren has contributed songwriting to projects for Keith & Kristyn Getty and Crowder, further establishing his presence in Christian music.
Cochren & Co. received a nomination for New Artist of the Year at the 51st Annual GMA Dove Awards and were nominated for Break Out Single of the Year at the 2019 K-LOVE Fan Awards. The 2022 single “Thank God For Sunday Morning” was recognized as one of K-LOVE’s 22 Songs that Defined 2022. The band made their debut at the Grand Ole Opry on June 13, 2023. Subsequent releases include the holiday project The Company Christmas Album (2024) and the singles “Money Can’t Buy” (2025) and “Stand My Ground” (2026).
