About Capital Kings
Capital Kings is an American electronic-pop and Christian pop duo formed in Washington, D.C. The group was founded by childhood friends Cole Walowac and Jon White, who met in their church nursery and later played together in their youth group band. Their music blends electronic dance music (EDM), hip-hop, and pop, and they signed with Gotee Records, a label co-founded by TobyMac.
The duo released their self-titled debut album, Capital Kings, in 2013. The album reached the Top 5 on the Billboard Christian Albums chart. Their second album, II, followed in 2015 and peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Dance Album chart. Notable singles from their catalog include “I Feel So Alive,” “Fireblazin,” “Into Your Arms,” and “I Can’t Quit.” They also released a remix album titled Remixd in 2014.
Jon White departed the group in 2016 and was replaced by Dylan Housewright. The group disbanded in 2018 but reunited in 2023, releasing the single “Higher.”
