About Bob Fitts
Bob Fitts is a Christian singer, songwriter, and worship leader whose ministry has spanned decades and continents. He has been involved in worship leading and songwriting since the early 1970s. Fitts attended the Melodyland School of Theology in Anaheim, California, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry. He later served as a youth pastor and church worship leader in Riverside, California.
In 1981, Fitts and his family moved to Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, to work with the international missions organization Youth With A Mission (YWAM). In 1990, he pioneered the School of Worship, a training program that has since been conducted in various countries around the world. He has traveled to over fifty nations to lead worship and teach at churches and conferences.
In 1996, Fitts and his wife, Kathy, founded Alabaster Ministries, an organization dedicated to providing support to widows and the fatherless. His songwriting and recording work has resulted in a number of widely sung worship songs, including "Blessed Be The Lord God Almighty," "Take My Healing To The Nations," and "Comfort My People." He has also recorded several albums with Integrity Music, such as The Lord Reigns, The Highest Place, He Will Save You, and I Will Bow To You, as well as the 2008 album Restore.
