Ayanda Ntanzi

Ayanda Ntanzi is a South African gospel recording artist and worship leader whose music is rooted in his Christian faith. He was born on January 31, 1992, in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, and grew up in a musical family, beginning to sing at a young age. His professional music career started in 2014 after he was mentored by producer Nqubeko Mbatha.

Ntanzi released his debut album, Udumo, in 2015. The album earned him the Best Urban Contemporary Gospel award at the SABC Crown Gospel Awards. He followed with a live album and DVD, Priestly Worship, in 2017. That same year, his song "Nasempini" won Best Praise Song at the 2018 SABC Crown Gospel Awards. In 2020, he released the album According to Grace, which includes songs such as "Wena Jesu," "Grace Upon Grace," "Basuka," and "Ngiyathandwa." He also received the Best Male Gospel Artist award at the 14th Crown Gospel Awards.

Alongside his music career, Ntanzi pursued higher education and graduated with an LLB degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2020. He also founded Royal Priest Productions, an initiative aimed at mentoring and empowering emerging gospel artists.
