Avalon is an American contemporary Christian vocal quartet formed in 1995 in Nashville, Tennessee. The group was founded by Grant Cunningham, then A&R Director at Sparrow Records, with the vision of a vocal group featuring two male and two female vocalists. Since its inception, Avalon has experienced multiple lineup changes, with Janna Long and Jody McBrayer serving as long-standing members. The current lineup includes Janna Long, Greg Long, Jody McBrayer, and Dani Rocca.
Known for their signature four-part harmonies and a string of hits including "Testify to Love," "Adonai," and "Can't Live a Day," Avalon has released numerous albums such as A Maze of Grace, The Creed, Joy: A Christmas Collection, and Called. Their catalog also includes the song "You Deserve It All." The group has earned multiple RIAA-certified gold records, received three Grammy nominations, and won six Dove Awards. They have also achieved twenty-two number one songs on Christian radio charts.
