Anita M. Wilson is a Grammy-nominated gospel music singer, songwriter, and producer known for blending contemporary gospel with soul. Born on June 19, 1976, in East St. Louis, Illinois, she spent nearly a decade as a backup singer for Donald Lawrence & Company before launching a successful solo career. She has also served as a worship leader at a church in Chicago.

Wilson released her debut album, Worship Soul, in 2012, which featured the songs “Speechless” and “Jesus Will.” The album earned a Grammy nomination for Best Gospel Album. She followed with Vintage Worship in 2014, including the track “That’s What He’s Done For Me,” which also received a Grammy nomination in the same category. Her third album, Sunday Song (2017), reached number one on the Billboard Top Gospel Albums chart and garnered another Grammy nomination for Best Gospel Album. Wilson later released Dance Soul in 2020 and Soul Sister in 2021.

Beyond performing, Wilson serves as the President and CEO of Reflection Media, Inc., overseeing her independent music career. She frequently collaborates with her husband, Rick Robinson, who co-writes and co-produces her music. Wilson is also an honorary member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Her journey from background vocalist to a chart-topping, Grammy-nominated solo artist reflects her dedication to gospel music and ministry.
