Angela Primm

Angela Primm is an American gospel vocalist known for her work as a background singer and featured soloist in the Gaither Homecoming video series. Raised in the church, she began singing as a child in her mother’s family group. Over the course of her career, she has provided background vocals for a wide range of artists, including Aretha Franklin, Dolly Parton, Bill Gaither, and Andrae Crouch.

Primm built a significant ministry presence in Nashville, Tennessee, where she and her husband, John Primm, produced a Christian cabaret called “Still Waters, Christian Light Club, Inc.” for fourteen years. Her recorded catalog includes the albums A Little Bit of Heaven, Sanctuary, Oh, The Blood Of Jesus, and The Best of Angela Primm... Live!.

In 2024, she received an honorary doctorate in Sacred Music from Wayland Baptist Theological Seminary.
