Allan Sucre

Allan Sucre, also known as Allan Wanjohi, is a bass player, singer, and songwriter whose work is rooted in his Christian faith. A self-taught musician, he plays drums, bass guitar, and acoustic guitar, and he describes himself as a believer with a passion for gospel music. His musical journey has blended worship ministry with professional session work across the Kenyan music scene.

Sucre has served as a music director at Mavuno Church, and he has also worked as a band director or musician for a range of artists, including Elani, Eric Wainaina, and Atemi. In addition to his performance and leadership roles, he has been involved in teaching music at Braeside School, sharing his skills with the next generation of musicians.

His recorded catalog includes the song "Even Here," which features him, as well as "Utugi Wa Magegania," a collaboration with Rebekah Dawn, and "Be Still," another track that features his contributions. Through these releases and his ongoing work in church and studio settings, Sucre continues to express his faith through music.
