About Aaron Shust
Aaron Michael Shust is a contemporary Christian music artist and worship leader. He was born on October 31, 1975, in Chicago, Illinois, and grew up near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He studied music theory at Toccoa Falls College in Georgia. From 2000 to 2005, Shust served as a worship leader at Perimeter Church in Duluth, Georgia. He is a vocalist who also plays guitar and piano.
Shust released his debut album, Anything Worth Saying, in 2004. His catalog includes the albums Whispered and Shouted, Take Over, and This Is What We Believe, as well as the songs “To God Alone,” “My Hope is in You,” and “Ever Be.” He has been associated with labels that include Brash Music and Centricity Music.
In 2007, Shust received three GMA Dove Awards: Song of the Year for “My Savior My God,” Songwriter of the Year, and New Artist of the Year. He is married to his wife, Sarah, and they have three sons. Shust has also served as a worship leader at his home church in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania.
