1K Phew (born Isaac Gordon in 1995) is an Atlanta-based hip-hop artist whose music is often described as Gospel Rap or Atlanta Street Gospel. He grew up in Lithonia, Georgia, and was raised in a church community. In his youth, he experienced a spiritual turning point after surviving a shooting incident during a botched weed deal. He signed with Reach Records in 2017.
His musical style blends Southern trap sounds with faith-centered messages. 1K Phew first released the mixtapes Sunday Night (2015) and Life (2016), followed by the album What’s Understood (2019). He became known for his “Bible Stories (Atlanta Versions)” viral video series. He has collaborated with artists including Lecrae, Andy Mineo, Hulvey, and producer Zaytoven.
In 2021, he and Lecrae released the collaborative album No Church In a While. The project earned the Rap/Hip-Hop Gospel Album of the Year award at both the 53rd Annual GMA Dove Awards and the 37th Annual Stellar Awards. 1K Phew continued with the album Pray For Atlanta (2024) and the single “All I Need” (2025), alongside other singles such as “Let Go Let God (The Anthem)” and “Move” (with Lecrae).
