Meaning & Inspiration
“Found a Love” by 7 Hills Worship describes God’s love as something that pursues and stays close. The opening verse says the singer found a love that chased after him, filled every break and space between heartaches, and was honest and never far from his hand. It adds that this love makes him believe that beauty is found even in broken things.
The chorus addresses God directly with “How You love me, how You fight for me, how You’ll always be the air that I breathe.” It ends in rest, falling into God’s arms and finding peace, and the phrase “loves me so hopelessly” is a way of saying love without limit. This is close to Romans 8:38-39 on love that cannot be separated from.
