Xolani Mdlalose

Xolani Mdlalose is a South African gospel artist and worship leader. He was born and raised in Ulundi, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. He gained prominence as a member of the gospel ensemble Joyous Celebration, where he served for six years. Within the South African gospel music scene, Mdlalose is frequently referred to as the "Prince of Praise."

Beyond his ensemble work, Mdlalose has built a career as a recording artist and worship leader. He has worked as a television personality for the gospel channel ONE Gospel. His international ministry has included tours in the United States. His recorded songs include "Avumile" (as a featured artist with Benjamin Dube), "Ngena," "Phakama," "Zibonakalise," and "Ngcwele (Hosanna)."

Mdlalose’s contributions to gospel music have been recognized with several honors. He was nominated for International Male Soloist of the Year at the Texas Gospel Music Excellence Awards and has been a recipient of awards at the Crown Gospel Music Awards. In addition to his musical career, he has publicly shared his testimony regarding his recovery from a brain aneurysm.
