About Vertical Worship
Vertical Worship is a contemporary Christian and worship music collective based in Chicago, Illinois. The group, formerly known as Vertical Church Band, is associated with Harvest Bible Chapel and began releasing music in 2012. Signed to Provident Label Group and releasing through Essential Records, the collective’s mission includes serving the global church with worship songs and providing training for worship leaders.
The group’s discography includes a steady stream of live and studio projects. Their debut release, Live Worship from Vertical Church, arrived in 2012, followed by The Rock Won’t Move (2013), Church Songs (2015), Frontiers (2016), Vertical Worship (2017), Bright Faith Bold Future (2018), Grace Is On Our Side (2020), and Build an Altar (2024).
The single “Yes I Will” reached Gold certification and received a GMA Dove Award nomination for Worship Song of the Year. Additionally, four of the group’s albums have reached the Top 10 of Billboard’s Christian Albums chart.
