TRU-SERVA

TRU-SERVA is the stage name of Marcus Montana, a Christian hip-hop artist and ordained minister based in St. Paul, Minnesota. He was born and raised in a single-parent home in Lacombe, Louisiana, near New Orleans. He committed to a personal relationship with Jesus at age 16, and his music mission is to help others find "true life" and share the message of the cross. His lyrics incorporate themes of spiritual warfare, hope, and positive change.

TRU-SERVA’s catalog includes the songs “Put In Work” (feat. Steven Malcolm), “Somethin’ On The Inside” (feat. George Enzy), “Battleground” (feat. Presence Music), “I Surrender All” (feat. Nicky Gracious & Mika Cooper), “Make Him Known,” and “I Exalt Thee” (feat. One8tea & Brent Taylor). He released the album Intentional and the EP We Believe.

In May 2026, his song “Somethin’ On The Inside” achieved a No. 1 position on the CMW Rhythmic chart.
