About Travis Cottrell
Travis Cottrell is an American contemporary Christian music artist, songwriter, author, and worship leader. He was raised in Boone, North Carolina, and graduated from Belmont University in 1992 with a degree in music. He has served as a worship leader for Beth Moore’s Living Proof Live conferences since 1998. He currently serves as the Worship Pastor at Brentwood Baptist Church in Brentwood, Tennessee.
Cottrell has over 30 published solo recordings and musicals to his credit. His discography includes albums such as The Deep (2001), Unashamed Love (2003), Alive Forever (2005), Found (2006), Ring the Bells (2008), Jesus Saves Live (2010), When the Stars Burn Down (2011), and Spirit Rise (2020). Three of his projects have peaked at number one on the Christian music charts.
He has received 26 GMA Dove Award nominations and has won twice, including one award for Jesus Saves Live. In 2013, he received the Encore Award from Belmont University. Cottrell has also collaborated with various artists, including Amy Grant, Garth Brooks, and Michael W. Smith.
