About Tim Timmons
Tim Timmons is a singer, songwriter, and worship leader in contemporary Christian music. He was born Timothy Howard Timmons on February 9, 1976, in Irvine, California. In 1998, he began serving as a worship leader at Mariners Church in Irvine, a role that grounded his early ministry.
In 2001, Timmons received a diagnosis of incurable cancer, a personal trial that would quietly inform the depth of his songwriting and calling. He later founded the nonprofit organization and podcast 10000 MINUTES, and he co-wrote the song “Even If,” which was recorded by MercyMe. Timmons is married to Hilary Beth Timmons, and together they have four children. He is currently based in Nashville, Tennessee.
Timmons released the album Cast My Cares in 2013, followed by Awake Our Souls in 2015 and HERE in 2021. His singles include “You Never Let Go” (2020), “This Is The Day” (2021), “Roar” (2021), and “No Other Gods.” In 2023, he issued the EP The Beauty of the Heart of Christ.
