About Three Bridges
Three Bridges is a Southern Gospel trio founded by Elliott McCoy. The group was established in 2001 and released its debut album, Soldiers, the following year. The name “Three Bridges” was chosen to represent the members’ connection to Christ and their desire to serve as a bridge for others to reach Him.
The trio’s musical style blends traditional Southern Gospel with black gospel and soul. Current or past members include founder Elliott McCoy on baritone, Shannon Smith on lead, and Jeremie Hudson on tenor. McCoy is a native of Burnwell, Kentucky, with a background in gospel music spanning several decades. The group has recorded for Sonlite Records and Mansion Entertainment, and has performed in churches, business conventions, and charitable events.
Three Bridges’ recorded catalog includes the albums Soldiers (2002), Our Story (2018), and Twelve. Their singles include “Good News Never Gets Old” and “Forgive Myself.” Other songs in their repertoire are “My Story,” “God Did It,” and “Live like Jesus.” In 2012, the group received the Special Event Project of the Year award at the Absolutely Gospel Music Awards for the project Christmas Must Be Tonight.
