Thomas Muglia

Thomas Muglia is a Catholic singer-songwriter and worship leader signed to Oregon Catholic Press (OCP). He was born with moderate to severe hearing loss and has worn hearing aids since birth. Despite this challenge, he grew up in a musical family and began performing in church under his father’s leadership. This early foundation in ministry shaped his path as a musician.

Muglia is an alumnus of the television program American Idol and a graduate of Arizona State University, where he was involved in the Catholic Newman Center. His time in campus ministry deepened his faith and helped him develop his calling as a worship leader. In 2021, he signed a recording contract with Oregon Catholic Press, marking a new chapter in his professional career.

His music focuses on the Christian journey, prayer, and personal faith. He released his album The Return in 2019, followed by I Have a Father in 2022. Songs from his catalog include “I Have a Father,” “Let My Tongue Be Silenced,” “For God Alone,” “Lead With Your Love,” and “Come.” Muglia is based in Tempe, Arizona, where he continues to serve as a singer-songwriter and worship leader.
