TaRanda Greene

TaRanda Greene is an American Christian musician known for her work in Southern gospel and Christian music. Born TaRanda F. Kiser on April 6, 1979, she was raised in St. Petersburg, Florida, and graduated from Gibbs High School in 1997. Her professional music career began in 1997 as a member of the Southern gospel group The Greenes.

Greene launched her solo career in 2003 with the album Each Day You Face, followed by A Thing Called Love (2006), In the Sanctuary (2008), Stronger (2014), and The Healing (2018). Her song “Sky Full of Angels” (2006) made history as the first single by a female soloist to reach number one on the Singing News Top 40 Radio Airplay Chart. Greene has also performed at venues including Carnegie Hall and the United Nations.

In 2016, she became a member of the vocal trio Cana’s Voice. She is a featured guest soloist with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, with whom she collaborated on the song “He’s Been Faithful” (2023). Greene’s work with the choir earned two GMA Dove Awards for Inspirational Recorded Song of the Year: in 2019 for “When The Healing Comes” and in 2023 for “He’s Been Faithful.” She married Landon Beene in 2016.
