Stanley Brown

Stanley Brown is an American musician, songwriter, and record producer whose work spans contemporary gospel and rhythm and blues. Over the course of his career, he has served as a music executive, holding positions as Senior Director of A&R at RCA Inspiration and Vice President of A&R at Island Black Music. In 2004, he founded and became director of Timeless Music Group, a company through which he continues to develop gospel and R&B projects.

Brown has collaborated with a number of prominent gospel artists, including Karen Clark Sheard, Le’Andria Johnson, and T.D. Jakes. His production and songwriting credits have appeared in both gospel and R&B settings. He has also worked as a music supervisor for BET network programs, including the gospel competition series “Sunday’s Best” and the show “Exalted!”

Among Brown’s recorded works is the song “God Is Good,” featuring Karen Clark Sheard, Hezekiah Walker, and Kierra Sheard. The track earned him a nomination for Best Gospel Performance/Song at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards. Other songs in his catalog include “Meant For Me,” featuring Christopher Williams, Eric Bellinger, and Jason Nelson, as well as recordings of hymns such as “Holy Holy Holy,” “The Lord’s Prayer,” “Jesus, Lover of My Soul,” and “Jesus Is All the World to Me.”
