Lamontt "Spec" Blackshire is a Christian hip-hop artist, producer, and engineer known for his work within the Christian music industry. Born in Sacramento, California, he began his musical journey in high school by learning to play piano and producing songs. While attending Sacramento State College, he directed the Sac State Gospel Choir, an early leadership role that underscored his deep roots in Christian music.

Spec is recognized as a producer, engineer, and recording artist in the Christian hip-hop genre. He has collaborated with various Christian artists, including Flame, V. Rose, and 5ive. His discography includes the albums Vacancy (2015) and Vacancy 2: Back of the Bus (2016). Spec also released the single "I'll Get By" in 2025.

Among his notable song collaborations are "20th Century Fox" and "Dont You Know," both featuring V. Rose. He appeared on "Put Em On" alongside Alex Faith, 5ive, and J. Carter, and was featured on Sinai's track "Refugee" with Da' T.R.U.T.H. He also contributed to Flame's song "ENERGY."
