Soul P.

Soul P. is a Christian hip-hop artist and emcee. Born and raised in Seattle, Washington, he first performed under the name Soul Plasma before transitioning to Soul P. His music is noted for incorporating storytelling and themes drawn from his Christian faith.

Soul P. signed with Beatmart Recordings, where he released his major label debut. His catalog includes the albums The Soul Affect (2002), Simply Soul (2003), The Premiere (2006), and King's Empire. Notable songs from his career include “Step Clap,” “Whoa Whoa,” “Goodness” (featuring Lisa Kimmey), and “Hey Young Man.”

Throughout his career, he collaborated with other artists in the Christian hip-hop genre, including Sharp Skills, Willie Will, and Lisa Kimmey. In 2007, Soul P. was nominated for a Gospel Music Channel Video Award.
