Sons The Band

Sons The Band is a contemporary Christian musical duo signed to TRIBL Records, created with the stated purpose of writing songs for the Church and offering a new expression of worship. The duo consists of Jordan Colle and Steve Davis, who met in March 2020 at a songwriting camp hosted by Maverick City Music in Atlanta, Georgia. Later that same year, Colle and Davis formed the band in Colle’s studio, and their music quickly carved out a distinctive sound.

Their style blends contemporary Christian music with heavy guitars, gospel piano, and dynamic vocals. The duo’s early work included the songs “Only Ever Good” and “Cross and Empty Grave,” which helped establish their footprint in the worship music scene. In 2022, Sons The Band released the album Live from 1971, their first full-length project on TRIBL Records. The album showcased their commitment to crafting songs designed for congregational singing.

The following year, the duo continued to add to their catalog with the single “Power of Our Praise” and the song “Goodness Gracious,” both released in 2023. Through their writing and recording, Sons The Band has maintained a focus on serving the broader Church with music that is both modern and rooted in traditional gospel and rock elements.
