SongLab

SongLab is a worship collective and songwriting project founded by Meredith Mauldin. The project grew out of songwriting intensives held at the UPPERROOM in Dallas, where spontaneous songwriting in the prayer room was described as a “songwriting laboratory.” That environment gave the collective its name.

SongLab functions as both a workshop for worship leaders and a label or collective that releases music. Its mission is to equip worship leaders to write songs drawn from their own hearts and testimonies. Many SongLab releases are recorded live in studio settings, preserving the collaborative and organic feel of the writing process.

The collective’s recorded catalog includes the EPs Live From South Eden and Simplicity. Among its individual songs are “My Breakthrough,” featuring Brittany Rivera; “My Favorite,” featuring Gideon Roberts and Abbie Simmons; “Hero,” featuring Seph Schlueter; “A Love That Remains,” featuring Bryan McCleery and Meredith Mauldin; and “Your Love is All I Need.”
