Sofi Mendez

Sofi Mendez is a Costa Rican gospel artist, songwriter, and worship leader who has been based in Nairobi, Kenya, since 2016. Her music ministry reflects a multicultural and multilingual approach, blending English, Swahili, and Spanish in her worship songs.

Mendez has released several worship songs, including “My Strength,” “Higher,” “We Call Your Name,” “All I Need Is You,” “Unami (You Are With Me),” and “Let Your Glory Fall.” She also collaborated with gospel artist Tembalami on the song “Waweza.” Her album “The Beginning” showcases her work in contemporary gospel and worship music.

In addition to her recordings, Mendez has ministered musically at settings such as the Jubilee Christian Church (JCC) in Kenya and has participated in church-led musical projects, furthering her role as a worship leader in her adopted country.
