About Shana Wilson Williams
Shana Wilson-Williams is a gospel singer, songwriter, and worship leader. Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, she is the daughter of Bishop Samuel Wilson and the late Lady J Wilson, founders of Community Christian Fellowship church. She serves as a worship leader and Music Ministry Coordinator at the same church. Wilson-Williams earned a degree in gospel and classical music from Morgan State University.
She began her solo career as an independent worship artist in 2006. That year she won Vickie Winans’ New Rising Star contest. Her studio and live worship albums include The Nations Are Waiting, I Love You, and Everlasting. The album Everlasting reached number one on the iTunes Gospel Charts. Her recorded songs include “Press In Your Presence,” “Give Me You,” “It’s In The Room,” “Lion of Judah,” and “You Are Holy.”
In 2014, she married Rachard Williams, and they have children together. Beyond music, she established a cosmetics brand called Sarcastic Cosmetics in 2019.
