Seph Schlueter

Seph Schlueter was born Joseph "Seph" Schlueter on December 18, 1999, in Erie, Pennsylvania. Raised in a Catholic family with a background in missionary work, he serves as the Worship Director at Damascus, a Catholic missionary organization based in Columbus, Ohio, and is a leader of the Damascus Worship community. He is a singer, songwriter, and musician whose music is categorized within the Christian contemporary and pop genres.

Schlueter signed a recording contract with Provident Music Group in early 2023. His debut single, "Counting My Blessings," was released that same year and quickly gained significant traction. The song reached No. 1 on the Billboard Christian Airplay and Christian Adult Contemporary Airplay charts and received RIAA Platinum certification. He was named the second best new Christian artist of 2024 on the Billboard Year-End charts, and he is the first debut CCM artist in decades to have his first three career singles each reach No. 1 on the Billboard Christian Airplay chart.

His additional singles include "Running Back to You," "Won't Start Now," "We Sing (Joy to the World)," "Cling to the Cross," and "Valley of Worship." In 2024, he released the EP Counting My Blessings, followed by a full-length album of the same title in 2025. Through his work with Damascus Worship and his solo career, Schlueter has focused on creating music that encourages listeners to encounter God.
