Sean Slaughter

Sean Slaughter is a Christian hip-hop musician and urban missionary. Born Sean Martin Slaughter on May 4, 1976, in Queens, New York City, he is the son of gospel artist Alvin Slaughter. Slaughter began creating hip-hop music in 1991, but his life and music direction changed when he became a Christian in 1999, marking the start of his Christian hip-hop music ministry.

Slaughter graduated from Warwick Valley High School in 1994. He later earned a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership and management from Regent University in 2010, followed by a master’s degree in education from Liberty University in 2016. In addition to his music, he serves as the founder and director of Life Power Music Mentoring.

His recorded catalog began with the release of …And Justice for All in 1999, the same year as his conversion. He followed with The World Is Not Enough (2001), Slaughter Music Presents…the Dungeon Underground Classics, Chapter 1 (2002), and Die Another Day (2005). Later projects include Just Add Water (2006), Man on Fire (2008), The Prototype (2010), and Prototype 2 (2014).
