Samuel Lane

Samuel Lane is a UK-based Christian worship leader, songwriter, and musician with deep roots in the Vineyard Church movement. He is the son of Chris and Fliss Lane, pioneers of Vineyard UK, and grew up involved in that community from an early age. Lane served as Worship Pastor at The Vineyard Church in St Albans, and he was also a co-founder of The Burn Church and the Burn Band.

Lane began writing songs as a teenager. His early work includes the song “Beautiful,” which appeared on the 2002 Vineyard album Holy. In 2013 he released his debut solo album, The Fire, through Vineyard Records UK, followed later that year by The Fire: Acoustic EP. The following year he issued Samuel Lane: The 252 Sessions, and in 2018 he released the album The Difference. Additional songs in his catalog include “Adore Him,” “Fiery Love,” and “Lord You’re Near.”

In 2022 Lane founded a design house called Studio Remain and stepped down from his role as worship pastor at St. Albans Vineyard Church, marking a transition from local church leadership to new creative work. Throughout his career, his focus has remained on songwriting and worship within the UK Vineyard tradition.
