About Sam Rivera
Sam Rivera (Samuel Benjamin Rivera) is a Christian Pop/R&B singer and songwriter. He was born in Portland, Oregon, to Salvadoran immigrants and is the youngest of four siblings. Rivera began singing at age 15 at the church where his parents have served as pastors for 20 years.
During his youth, Rivera experienced anxiety, depression, and personal struggles with his faith. He began writing and recording music at age 18 as a way to express his emotions and faith. He gained early attention for a bilingual cover of “Todo Va Estar Bien” released in 2020.
Rivera’s catalog includes the album Miracle (2022) and its deluxe edition Miracle (Deluxe) (2023). He has also released several singles, including “Pray” and “Goodbye” in 2022, “YAHWEH” in 2023, and “Lord & Savior” in 2024. In 2022 he collaborated with Evan Craft and KB on “Be Alright (Remix).”
Through his music, Rivera draws from his own experiences with mental health and faith, aiming to create songs that connect with listeners facing similar struggles.
