Ruslan

Ruslan Karaoglanov, known professionally as Ruslan KD, is a Christian hip-hop artist, entrepreneur, and content creator. He was born in Baku, Azerbaijan, to Armenian parents and immigrated to the United States as a child to escape religious persecution. After settling in San Diego, California, he became interested in hip-hop at a young age.

He founded the independent label Kings Dream Entertainment. Ruslan was also a member of the hip-hop collective Dream Junkies alongside Beleaf and John Givez. His early releases include the EP Right Out Loud (The Prequel EP) (2010), the album Carry On (2013), and the mixtape series Indie Jones. With Dream Junkies, he recorded the album Good Religion (2016), which registered on Billboard’s R&B, Rap, Independent, and Heatseekers charts. His catalog also includes songs such as “Million Heirs,” “Friends” (with Paul Russell), “We On That” (with Paul Russell and Tre King), and “New Beginnings.”

Over time, Ruslan transitioned from a primary focus on music to digital media, including YouTube and podcasting, where he discusses faith, culture, and personal development. He is also the author of the book Godly Ambition, which became a USA Today bestseller.
