Rudy Currence

Rudy Currence is a gospel singer, songwriter, producer, and keyboardist born in Rock Hill, South Carolina. He graduated from Furman University with a degree in music and is a classically trained pianist with an endorsement deal from Kawai Musical Instruments. Raised as the son of a preacher in a religious household, his musical foundation was shaped by both classical training and the church.

Currence has earned a Grammy Award and a Dove Award for his production work on Lecrae’s album Gravity, and he received a Grammy nomination for co-writing the song “Sunday A.M.” for Karen Clark Sheard. He achieved a Billboard Gospel Airplay number-one with his single “I Belong Here” and has been recognized as a number-one Billboard Gospel recording artist. In 2024, he was a Stellar Award nominee. His catalog includes singles such as “No Greater Love,” “Testimony,” and “God Don’t Cancel Me,” as well as the albums Stained Glass Windows, More Than You’ll Ever Know, Here With You, and Digital Analog.

Currence has appeared on national television programs including The View and BET, and he continues to work as a solo artist and collaborator across gospel and faith-based music.
