Rosemary Skaggs

Rosemary Skaggs is a musician and worship leader originally from Ohio, now based in Asheboro, North Carolina. She is a member of the Cageless Birds, a music collective connected with the 18 Inch Journey ministry, and serves as a worship leader for schools, retreats, and worship nights. Her songwriting often reflects her personal faith and spiritual journey.

A multi-instrumentalist, Skaggs plays the accordion, guitar, and hammered dulcimer. She regularly records and performs music alongside her husband, Luke Skaggs. Together, they released the EP Branches, which includes the songs “Slow Seasons,” “Follow,” and “A Place Where the Highway Stops.”

Skaggs has also contributed to several Cageless Birds releases. Her song “Generous Portion” appears on the collective’s album We Rise We Bow, and the track “Morning Light” is featured on the album Sing Winter. In addition, she released the single “Filling With Wonder.” Through her music and leadership, Rosemary Skaggs continues to create songs rooted in worship and personal faith.
